I got onto The Clone Wars very late. I think it was in it's 4th season when I got onboard. I don't consider myself to be a super fan however, I do really like Star Wars. The Story of good and evil and laser swords, it's all great...so getting into Clone Wars, although slow off the mark, I started at season four to six then went back to season one and watched it until the last season that came out recently, season seven. The guy behind The Clone Wars, Dave Filoni did an excellent job fleshing out the characters of a galaxy far far away and the show did it's best to help you to like Episodes one to three. Seeing The Bad Batch in two episodes in Season seven was ok, but it had promise. Watching this trailer, even more so.
As you can tell from the trailer for those who watched season seven of The Clone Wars will see this trailer as a reintroduction of the characters and it also implies The Empire knew about them. As this seems to be covering a time period between Episode three and Episode Four, it will be nice to see what stories they tell and if we see any other characters from Star Wars lore...maybe some Rebels? I don't even know, but it looks like fun.
Directed by Dave Filoni and starring Dee Bradley Baker, Ming-Na Wen, Stephen Stanton and Andrew Kishino

(trailer review) - Star Wars: The Bad Batch
(trailer review) - Spiral
A whole year (due to covid 19) later, another trailer drops because in May 2020, we were all locked away and couldn't go outside due to quarantining, we are presented with this very different trailer and it looks really really good.
Again, I am getting a Seven vibe from this trailer, but this time it seems as though this film might be more epic in scale due to connectivity within the "Saw World" but seems like it will be a small budget and more claustrophobic affair. It will be interesting to see where we go in the future with this "franchise" and IF it will spin off sequels. I mean it does seem scary and maybe we need a new franchise, even if it is ripping on the old one a little.
Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols
