Last week, after THAT episode, was a quieter and calmer episode. We get an introduction to the Sarafites, aka Scars, Ellie and Dana go out looking for Abbie, and they finally get to Seattle, like the game. But just like the game, Seattle comes with its own problems as we see in this episode when both Ellie and Dana get to the Television studio (like the game), then get to the abandoned subway station and the Wolves and clickers are in there (like the game) and as intense as that escape is, the game is so much more intense as it goes on for longer. You are going through and covering more distance underground while being chased by hundreds of infected. Plus, the game does not tell you where to go, you just have to run. It is like the snow scene where Abbey is saved by Joel, in the game, that moment is longer and so much more intense. You finally get to the theatre like the game, but things do play out differently in the game.
Something I am not sure they will do as the game plays out differently narratively, is have Joel's brother out and about as well as Jessie. Jessie should appear in the next episode, but it really does depend on how they play out Abbey's story because both Abby and Ellie's story does crossover, so it will be interesting to see how they do this. Another great episode.
