It was only two days ago that I stated that the Star Wars franchise has not had much success in the last 10 years with quality films or shows apart from Andor. Not that I was lying, but I did not consider the animation department and the decent-to-great shows they have provided. The final season of The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels & Star Wars: The Bad Batch. But this 'Tales of the Underworld', whilst seemingly feeling forced (no pun intended) because it looks like it stars or centers around everyone's two favourite "bad guys", it looks like they have come up with a story to push onto us and I am fine with that because, well, these two characters are two of my favourite characters within the Star Wars Franchise.
This looks like it is a story split between two characters that may end up finding each other near the end and either working together or going their separate ways. Asajj Ventress, for whatever reason, is a uniquely designed character with flaws and issues, who wields a lightsaber and was once both Anakin and Ahsoka's enemy, so it would be incredibly interesting to know what her story is now, especially as she has been thought to have died.
As for Cad Bane, he is another cool-designed character who has been pretty ruthless over the years, and I also believe he was said to be dead. Maybe this takes place before the events involving 'The Book of Boba Fett'. Two bounty hunters, one story? If there is anything I want more, it's Asajj Ventress in live action, maybe this show will help with that going forward.
