These are Reel Ree:views here, keeping it concrete and reel...and somewhat, unbiased...well as much as possible, that is!
You know when you know something is going to be mad! This is definitely that time. And this is definitely it! So, in September, these guys dropped a first look trailer and I said what I said..."at this point I'm all in". However, watching this trailer, I'm fully stressed out! Have you tried to watch this trailer and listen to what is being said and fully comprehend the magnitude of what is going on?
Although there is a few shots in this and creatively, going backwards from a car accident on a busy road, if you think about the previous seasons and what happened, if you do not feel just a little stressed or on edge, you might need to see a professional about your condition. Oh by the way, there is also an announcement trailer they dropped last month i completely missed. This could not come out soon enough.
Directed by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams and starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney,

First of all, although I've said it before, I will say it again, this film looks absolutely crazy and funny. Considering there is soo much quality talent in this movie and the delivery from these actors, is this film campaigning for an Oscar? DiCaprio, Hill, Streep and Lawrence alone are absolutely killing it! Even more in this trailer, with the addition of Pearlman, Perry and Blanchett, like, is this equivalent of a Wes Anderson movie?
This trailer not only shows us much more than the previous trailer, but more laughs and comic antics and more actors, but maybe I missed this was based on a real life situation, this film is a definite must see for me as it looks like cleverly written and crafted film that might actually win a few awards. Directed by Adam McKay and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ron Perlman, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep You can comment down below to enter in discussions. As I previously said in my last trailer review, "This has to be Hollywood's worse kept secret and with the entire UNIVERSE (it would seem) wanting to see a Spider-Man trailer, Sony has been forced to drop the trailer..." But this trailer is not only a GREAT trailer, Sony are still holding all the cards and I love it!
Whilst this has been spoken about for likely a year and a half, rumours, speculations and all sorts in abundance, this trailer gives a lot away whilst holding onto the "surprise" everyone has been talking about for what seems like many moons now. Is it true? Is it not? Who cares at this point? This trailer does enough to allude that these "other spider-men" are in the movie, to even....what it seems, have been digitally erased them from this trailer. It is great seeing Sandman and The Lizard, but Electro looks amazing, especially with his design, mostly comic-book accurate. Seeing Doc-Ock back and Green Goblin, both getting upgrades to their suits is a delight to see and with both Alfred and Willem is just great for memorabilia. Toys a plenty. This trailer looks great, showcasing some great scenery along with scale. There is a shot where Spider-Man is swinging near electrical lines and it looks great as he looks sooo tiny. The ONLY concern I have with this movie, is the backstory for each villain and if it would be covered and who the MAIN antagonist is because we have 5 villains here and it seems as though whenever Sony do more than one villain, they mess it up. Let's see. Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx You can comment down below to enter in discussions. A series called Baymax from Big Hero 6!? Nah...I'm not going to lie, but learning about this made me smile because I really enjoyed Big Hero 6 as I found the film really good, but at the same time, Big Hero 6 was really dark in places. [SPOILERS] Big Hero 6 cam out in 2014, but when the brother died, I was devastated and couldn't believe Disney would hit me like that. Right in the feels. I was in soo much shock I was a little angry that Disney went out their way to crush you at the beginning of the movie!
The animation looks sooo good. Pixar at this rate are Gods in the game at this point as they know how to juggle child and adult friendly content, with jokes and for it to be understood by both children and adults alike and usually very entertaining. I've forgotten how funny Baymax itself is and that coffee shop part was funny..."Steve???". It would be interesting to know the story and as to why Baymax seems alone in this movie. December 2019 was when we got the first trailer and aost exactly 2 years later, we get the final trailer and whilst this trailer shows us more action, more hints to cameos and...well, more ghosts and ghouls, this trailer did nothing for me.
The aim of a trailer is to get you interested in a film and move the bar for you to get you interested. I was already interested. This trailer didn't do anything more other reconfirming that I want to see it. And according to this trailer, The Black man is ever ready.
I'll start off by saying, I've heard of Dune. I have heard that when George Lucas created the story of Star Wars, he took ideas from the Dune books from back in the day. I've not read the books nor seen the 1984 movie of the same name either, but you can google the film to see clips and gifs of it and if I'm honest, it is definitely not visually appealing (to me anyway). As well as learning that the film is not very good, seeing this film with a clean slate with nothing but the trailers watched, I was definitely in for a long movie of epic sci-fi proportions to try and get a grips with and get to learn, know, understand and hopefully like. Also, having seen, The French Dispatch last week, It would be nice to see something else with Tim and see what all the hype is about regarding him being the next Daniel Day-Lewis and such. So, did the movie please me or did I dislike it or have problems with it? Well, let me let you know!
Paul Atreides is the ducal heir of House Atreides led by his father Leto Atreides who is bestowed by the Emperor, stewardship of Arrakis, a desert planet rich in spice but local to the Fremen people. Lady Jessica, Paul's mother, is a consort to Leto and also a Bene Gesserit, a social, religious and political force composed of women who have trained their bodies through years of physical and mental conditioning to obtain Superhuman powers that has been passed down to Paul. As a result, Paul has foresight and dreams of a woman and glimpses of an unknown future he doesn't understand. Upon having these dreams, Paul is forced to become the "messiah", the "chosen one," through actions brought on by powerful forces who want to stake claim to Arrakis and the Spice.
This is the general synopsis and a touch of story "beats/plot points" to hopefully not spoil it for you but give you the gist of the movie. The movie is dense. This movie is large in scope and I feel, just like it was stated in the trailer, 'This is just the beginning' because if you can think of Game of Thrones mixed with Avatar, The Matrix and Star Wars, this film has it all combined into this great movie. I found myself liking this to more Game of Thrones but I couldn't be more transfixed to the screen. If there is anything you need to know about this movie before making a commitment to watching it, is that you MUST see this in the cinema! Yes a little long-ish, but I don't think a small screen (no matter how big your TV/screen is) is going to capture the vastness, the quality, the depth, the detail, the EVERYTHING, in this movie. Denis put his elbow and foot into this movie because the visuals are stunning. The world is soo realised. the architecture, the vehicles, the costumes, everything looks great and distinctive. You do get a sense of scale with the size of the vehicles and the infamous sandworm. In a shot, you will see the size difference with these things. The planet of Arrakis is a character all onto itself.
As for the music, Hans Zimmer did a number on this one and knowing he did the score, has made me want to go to another concert of his. It's great! It's Epic! It's Dune! I doubt he would be behind the sound design but the sound design is also great as well, literally, I cannot fault the visuals nor the sound. The acting? Not a single weak link in the chain of brilliant actors, Oscar, Timothée, Rebecca, Zendaya, Javier, Chang, Stellan, Josh, Saron and Jason...I'm likely missing someone out but the point here is that, everyone is great, phenomenal even. The story lends itself to be shakespearian which carries a certain weight to it. This means, any actor worth their salt are essentially inclined to bring out all their dramatic chops...and they did. Tim is great in this. I might need to see him in something else but he does soo much and sometimes even when doing soo little. The only gripe I had with this movie is that, all the actors who identify as a person of colour seem to have shorter roles. But all in all, I cannot wait for the second movie. Hopefully we can see a lot of these characters return and the world to open out even bigger...well the galaxy.
I definitely know I'm not the only who was just a little gassed off of this trailer. For those who watched The Mandalorian season 2, will know that a lot of things have happened in the Star Wars Universe and one of them is that, the man, the myth, the legend, Bob's Fett is back and he looks to be taking names and kicking ass!
Set after the events of 'Return of the Jedi' but before 'The Force Awakens', there is a lot of stories to be told and this looks like it's going to be a great story. These Disney+ Star Wars shows seem to take bits and pieces from ALL Star Wars lore and put them into a TV show and it does make for entertaining TV. We have seen things from the Prequels via flashbacks, things from 'The Clone Wars' (and the cartoon) and it's all been really good and not as spectacle like the sequel series. No shade at all, but there are some who don't feel that the sequel trilogy is Star Wars and/or other...ME, I'm good with it all to be honest and some more than others. It would be nice to see what comes next trailer-wise, but looking good soo far.
