(trailer review) - Dreamland

Watching this trailer reminded me of Queen & Slim in a way.  And although, very different in many ways, I couldn't help but think of two people on the run like Themla and Louise and think of that great movie.  It seems it will have some real dramatic and heartfelt moments with a story or narrative in which most of us can relate to.  However, I just couldn't relate to this time era where with Queen and Slim I could.

That is not to say that I wouldn't watch this movie because I couldn't relate to the time era as Margot Robbie is a tremendous actor.  I felt immediately when watching this trailer, the Harley Quinn mischief and mayhem of the character (or more mayhem) and how this seems to be a hardened, yet vulnerable character who has done things to stay alive because of a troubled past.  I could be wrong but that is ultimately what I got from this official trailer and it would be interesting what another trailer might detail as I missed the initial one last month.

Directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte and starring Finn Cole,Margot Robbie,Travis Fimmel,Kerry Condon,Darby Camp,Lola Kirke

(trailer review) - One Night In Miami

It's wild to even think that this could have been a thing or even was a thing.  And the lack of promotion boggles me.  When this trailer dropped, I knew absolutely nothing about it, not a peep.  So to learn that Regina King has made this her directorial debut, I was obviously shocked.

4 friends, Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, Jim Brown and Muhammed Ali come together to spend time with one another at the height of their notoriety, on one night and inspired by true events.  It would be interesting what this story will say and how it will unfold.

Directed by Regina King and Starring Kingsley Ben-Adir, Eli Goree, Aldis Hodge, Leslie Odom Jr.

(trailer review) - Wonder Woman 1984

(Official Main Trailer)

(Official Main Trailer)

(Official Trailer)

I'm guessing this is the FINAL trailer as the link only says "Official Main Trailer" (again) but having looked at the above two links, the Official Main Trailer above for the Warner Bros. UK & Ireland YouTube page is pretty much the exact same trailer!

I'm not sure if this is an error on their behalf, or maybe it is because I have access to UK & Ireland YouTube page, but this is or at least seems like the same exact trailer from August where at the end, Wonder Woman grabs Cheetah by the scruff of the neck.  With talks of possibly now dropping this movie on HBO Max and countries where cinema's are still open, in the UK, our cinema's are closed and we do not have access to HBO Max, so it's interesting how this would now pan out!

Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright
